Kendra's Philosophy

I truly believe each and every one of us has the capacity to intricately know how our body works. And if you know the nuances of how your own body works - even if you're not an anatomy geek like me - you hold the power to help yourself feel better.

We all have patterns that we've created over years and years of movement - both good and bad. They feel completely natural to you now, but your current condition (for better or worse) is a culmination, and result, of those patterns.

Believe it or not, those patterns can be retrained, no matter how old you are. (It's never too late!)

We all have limitations, but we also have strengths. We must reign in our strengths that have helped us hide from our limitations, and we must also face our limitations in order to overcome them.

Fortunately, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

  • Maybe you've lost your passion for running because your lower back hurts every time you hit the road

  • Maybe you over-pronate your feet which has the ripple effect of causing your upper back pain (yes…that really is possible)

  • Maybe you keep getting headaches when you go to yoga class but can’t figure out why…

That’s what my work with you is all about: sharing my nuanced knowledge of anatomy, yoga, training and corrective exercise to help you figure out WHY and HOW to use exercise to help you find the correct alignment for YOUR body.

By helping you experience and integrate proper alignment and form so you understand how it feels in your body, you can throw yourself into any class, workout, run, ride, swim, and know exactly what your body needs to keep you safe, healthy and strong.

You don’t have to live with pain forever.

You don’t have to rely on other people to help you forever.

You have the capacity to gain a deep understanding of how your body works.

You have the capacity to do this for yourself.

And the result? It's one that lasts a lifetime.

“I just wanted to reach out to you and thank you for all your help. You have given me my confidence back! I didn’t believe in the beginning that I would come this far and you were always able to push me to keep trying anyway. Since we had our last session my stomach [from Diastasis Recti] has come down tremendously. I still have a little ways to go but I know it can do it. I can’t wait to send you my progression photos for proof that this does work! Hopefully motivation for your future clients.”
