Postpartum: Back to Yoga
Getting back to “regular” yoga classes may feel daunting, and gentle classes may not help you build the heat and receive the detoxification benefits you seek from your yoga practice.
This unique class - designed to help postpartum folks head back to regular yoga classes - or take up a home practice - safely and confidently - is the missing piece.
Blending the time-tested and nervous-system-balancing practice of Ashtanga yoga with the wisdom of Postpartum Corrective Exercise, this class will be moderately paced and instructed to help each individual use their yoga practice as an opportunity to awaken dormant parts of the body, build balanced strength and lay the foundation for a sustainable practice.
All levels. Blocks encouraged for Livestream participants.
Baby & Me Yoga
Geared towards postpartum people with babies 6 weeks to crawling, you’ll be invited to stretch and strengthen your postpartum body, re-activate your core and pelvic floor, and include your baby in your practice with some gentle, age-appropriate movements and holds — benefitting you both! (If you are practicing virtually, your baby can be any age - or they could be napping so the practice can be done without baby!)
If you are joining us in-person, babies are welcome but not required.
In-person participants: Due to space limitations in the studio, we kindly ask that you leave strollers in your car.

Prenatal + Postpartum Candlelight Restorative Yoga
This evening practice is ideal for both pregnancy and postpartum folks who are eager to balance all the “doing” with dedicated time for “being” - to slow down and calm naturally.
Gently flowing movements, supported postures with longer holds, and a warm candlelight vibe will allow the body to reset fully. Restorative and gentle yoga practices are known for their ability to support increased levels of melatonin (calming effect, contentment and improved mood), serotonin (euphoric feelings of love), and endorphins that are pleasure-inducing and pain blocking. Nurturing modifications and accessible variations will be lovingly provided so you leave class feeling whole, feeling complete.
